The study presented in this paper, the proportion of total quality management practices in mediating role of the relationship between strategy and organizational performance review. Reviewing the Total Quality Management in relation to the strategy, the study seeks to improve understanding of the philosophy of Total Quality Management in
the
broader context. The conflicts in the literature about the relationship between total quality management, cost leadership and differentiation strategies as well as quality and innovation performance is to be assessed and resolved. Empirical data for this study were collected from a survey of 194 top and middle managers Australian companies. Analysis techniques using structural equation modeling (SEM) by examining two models of perfect competition shows that mediation was conducted. Results show that TQM significantly, negatively correlated with segmentation strategy and detail, the relationship between segmentation strategy and three performance criteria (product quality, product innovation and process innovation) plays a mediating role
